Dr. William “Bill” F. Herholtz III, CCC-A, F-AAA, is a third-generation audiologist and was southern Colorado’s first Doctor of Audiology (AuD). He holds a doctorate in audiology from the University of Florida and graduated with honors and a 4.0 G.P.A. He also has a Master of Science in audiology from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is a graduate of Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs.
Dr. Herholtz has been practicing in Colorado Springs for the past twenty years, excepting some time spent away for his education. He concentrates on the diagnosis and treatment of hearing, tinnitus, and balance disorders. In addition, Dr. Herholtz specializes in dispensing the latest digital hearing instruments from a variety of the best manufacturers in the world.
As a third-generation hearing care provider and southern Colorado’s first Doctor of Audiology, Dr. Herholtz has the expertise and compassion to bring you world-class hearing care. He practices the golden rule in his office and has compassion for those dealing with hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance problems.
Dr. Herholtz has been married to his wife, Lara, for 16 years, and they have three boys: Josef (13), Thomas (10), and Samuel (7). They enjoy skiing, golfing, boating, mountain biking, and spending time with each other in the great outdoors of Colorado.

William F. DeHaan III (Bill), is a second generation Nationally Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist. He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a graduate of Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs.
Mr. DeHaan has been running hearing clinics in Colorado for over 17 years. He concentrates on the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus. In addition, Mr. DeHaan specializes in dispensing the latest digital hearing instruments from a variety of the best manufacturers in the world.
As a second-generation hearing health provider with 17 years of experience, Mr. DeHaan has the expertise and compassion to bring you world-class hearing care. He takes great pride in caring for each patient as if they were family.
Mr. DeHaan has been married to his wife, Tricia, for 10 years. They have 3 kids: Rhett, Kendall, and Madison. They enjoy hiking, camping, fishing along with travel and music. They are members of First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs.
Rachael Rieskamp moved to Colorado in 2010 from Florida, although she grew up in Arkansas. She began working with Dr. Herholtz in 2013 and has proven to be a very valuable asset to our practice. She has a passion for providing excellent service to our patients and is very knowledgeable about routine repairs and hearing aid troubleshooting.
Rachael is married to Adam Rieskamp, and they have two dogs: Bernie and Baily. They enjoy hiking and fishing in the great outdoors as well as music.
Megan Mobley is a current Audiology Resident completing her Doctorate of Audiology at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. Megan is a native Texan and her passion for Audiology began after reading a research study on Cochlear Implants during her undergraduate studies in Communication Disorders at Texas State University- San Marcos. Since starting graduate school, Megan has found particular interest in helping patients with the following areas: tinnitus management, amplification selection and fitting, diagnostic vestibular testing, and educating on hearing conservation.
When Megan is not helping others hear better she finds the greatest joy in spending time with her husband, off the grid, mountain biking and off-roading, along with discovering new cuisine around town and in her own kitchen. She believes in the importance of living life with purpose and is excited to see the opportunities that her new home in Colorado Springs has to offer.
Kacy Hooten is currently completing her Doctorate of Audiology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in communication disorders from Central Michigan University. Her clinical education at Henry Ford Hospital and the Ann Arbor VA Hospital provided her with extensive knowledge on diagnostic testing, the latest hearing aid technology and genuine, quality patient care. Kacy has great enthusiasm educating her patients about their hearing loss and how to improve communication with their friends and loved ones.
Kacy is originally from Hastings, a small town outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Having grown up on a golf course, she is an avid golfer. She also enjoys cheering on her Green Bay Packers, creating delicious food in the kitchen, music, hiking and adventuring colorful Colorado. While she misses Pure Michigan and the Great Lakes, she is happy to call the Rocky Mountains her new home!
Florina Taylor is originally from California but moved to Colorado from Iceland in 1993 along with her children and husband who was retiring from the Air Force at the time. She began working as an office manager in 1994 with Bill and Alice Herholtz in the Canon City clinic and continued there for 23 years.
Florina is passionate about helping people with a hearing impairment to improve their life with the help of hearing devices. She is knowledgeable and skilled in the hearing health industry and provides excellent patient care.
Florina has been married to her husband, Jerry, for 43+ years. They have 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and their dog, Sheila. They love family get-togethers along with motorcycling and ATV riding in the great outdoors of Colorado.
